These are our iron - and sew on nametapes in the basic colours red, blue or black on white background and white on black background.
2 colours: 1 background colour and 1 text/logo colour.
There is 1 exception, namely our logo/photo stickers: All colours are printed as uploaded.
All our labels are produced in polyester.
In the context of sustainability, since 2019, the ordinary polyester yarns have been systematically replaced by yarns made from recycled polyester (from PET bottles). Only the yarn colours that are ordered very infrequently are still plain polyester for now. In time, these too will be replaced.
Currently, we are weaving for +- 90% with Newlife yarns.
Most of the labels are woven in taffet quality, which means that the text colour can shine through on a light background colour.
Our premium logo labels, on the other hand, are woven in damask quality, in which your text and logo come out extra sharp and the background colour is bright instead of pastel.

Do the nametapes stay attached to the clothes, even after washing several times?
Yes, follow the instructions mentioned on the bag carefully and your nametapes will be very well attached. Ironing over them after washing is recommended.
Can I easily remove the iron-on nametapes?
No, in that case, it’s better to choose our sew-on nametapes.
Can I sew the iron-on nametapes?
Yes, but it’s less easy because of the heat-sealing foil.
Our iron-on labels must be ironed very hot, at linen setting (°°°) and without steam. The adhesive layer must melt with the fabric you iron on. Name ribbons that have come loose in the wash can usually be ironed on again. This usually means that they have not been ironed in hot enough and that the adhesive layer has not melted.
We also recommend a traditional iron with a stainless steel soleplate and an iron that does not automatically adapt itself to the fabric which is being ironed.
You can replace the iron with a (hair)straightener set at 200°. In that case, however, we recommend always using a cotton cloth between both sides of the straightener and the garment + iron-on label.
On cotton, ironing labels should not cause any problems.
If the fabric is more delicate, we recommend placing a cotton cloth between the iron and fabric + name label.
For ribbed fabrics such as woollen pullovers, the label should be ironed in the direction of the rib (not across). A better option for this type of fabric is to choose our sewing-in labels.

You can have labels in special colours. For our text ribbons and nametapes there is a small additional charge for special colours. You can choose your colours on the screen.
We have about 105 symbols you can choose from, and you can put these symbols in front of or/and behind your text. You can use our symbols on our wristbands, on our nametapes and text ribbons.
On our name stickers, you can choose from 32 different symbols. This symbol automatically precedes the text.
Between your text: You can create extra blank space between 2 parts of a text, by using the spacebar. 3 spaces is approximately 1 cm. This is only possible between 2 text parts and only possible with a label with one text line.
Before and after your text: Our sew-in labels already have 16mm blank space on both sides of the text. Our iron-on labels have a standard 8mm blank space on both sides of the text. Do you want extra space before and/or after your text? Please contact our customer service before you place the order ! Also, when you should re-order, you must contact us in advance.

Yes, you can. Provided you have not chosen the lurex metal thread (silver or gold). Metal cannot be put in a microwave oven, this can cause fire.
Our woven labels can be washed at 90 °C maximum.
The vinyl name stickers for objects are dishwasher proof.
The name stickers textile are not intended for permanent marking and are best not washed in the washing machine. They may last a few washes but that depends on the temperature and the material they are stuck on.
Our text colors gold and silver (ref. 6 and 7) are lurex yarns. This type of yarn is a type of metal thread that is not very flexible and breaks easily during weaving. The production team cannot remove the bad labels because if they do, the labels can no longer be neatly packaged and rolled up. That is why we always weave and deliver more labels than you have ordered.

Normally, all our products are being sent as a letter, with prior Post. You have to take into account that, outside Europe, this will certainly take more than a week.
It is possible to choose a carrier, this means you will have to pay an additional cost.
Nominette is not responsible for delays due to customs formalities.
Yes. Delivery address and invoice address can be in a different country.
We cannot be held liable for loss and/or damage caused by the tranporter. Nominette can only confirm the date that your order has been handed over to the carrier. If you choose a track & trace or Express shipment, you do have the possibility to follow the progress of your delivery with a tracking code.
If you select the express service option, we use a courier service. This means an additional cost.
Your order will then be delivered within the next 1 to 6 working days (depending on the country where you live) at the delivery address you have given us.
Make sure that there is always someone present at this delivery address. The delivery must be signed for and we are not able to inform you exactly when the courier will be stopping by.
You can only pay online : with Paypal, homebanking and credit cards Visa/Mastercard.
